Really great place! Very hospitable owners, with an understanding of good food. The cottage was perfect. Giulia recommended us a few restaurant where we could eat delicious. Everything was also casual. We were allowed to pick herbs from the garden, lemons, strawberries, lettuce, garlic, arugula and much more.
Everything was okay. However, we should have been pointed out by Belvilla that in order to reach the accommodation, we should have provided detailed, detailed directions in advance. The navigation of the car could not find the location exactly, so we had to search for at least an hour, and because it was getting dark, it was even harder to find the access road to the location. This access road of 1.5 km to the accommodation is also very steep with 16 turns and cannot be driven in the dark for the first time. Fortunately the owner and his daughter came to our aid. This was not pleasant for them either, but they helped us well.
Loro Ciufenna nice little village. Wonderful location, but very steep road up to house.
We enjoyed Casa Sesta. Casa Sesta is run by two sisters, very welcoming and service oriented. The way up is challenging but ultimately brings you to a beautiful place where it is very good to stay. A lovely pool to relax with a breathtaking view over the valley, the location is very central to fun outings. Recommended!
Beautiful apartment, simply furnished, but in a spectacular place. From your terrace a magnificent view over the Arno valley, and from the pool even mooier.Bijzonder friendly welcome by the sisters Sara and Giulia.Het road to it is in first gear to do well but most inhabitants of our country will be as flat do swallow.
What a beautiful spot on top of the mountain. Greeted with wine and olive oil making, you could see the vegetable garden to pick what you needed, like the fruit. A beautiful spot overlooking the valley, very hospitable people. It was a bit tricky to find and then go up in one, a lot of extra gas and after one day did you know where and how the corners were. Only downside was that you could get to. Not just at the corner bakery fresh rolls
