Nestled in a magical woodland clearing in southern England, this charming glamp site is perfectly located halfway between London and Bath. Set on 10 acres of private ancient woodland near historic Newbury, the cozy Daisy Pod sleeps 2 adults in a double bed and 2 children on fold-out Z-beds. It offers an ideal base for exploring or relaxing in nature. Guests have full access to the woodland, where kids can build camps, enjoy the tyre swing, and gather fallen wood for fire pits.
The pod features an outside decked seating area, private toilet, hot shower, and sink. Inside, it’s equipped with electricity, heating, and a fridge, plus an outdoor cooking station with a gas stove, BBQ, crockery, cutlery, pans, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water, kettle, and toaster. All bedding and towels are included. Nearby, a communal undercover seating area and large brick firepit provide additional outdoor comfort.
The nearby village of Woolton Hill offers shops, a post office, three pubs within walking distance, and a monthly market. Attractions around Newbury include Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), 4 Kingdoms Adventure Farm Park, The Chase nature reserve, Newbury Racecourse, museums, and canal boat trips to Hungerford. Surrounded by scenic walks and cycling trails, there’s plenty to enjoy outdoors without needing to drive.
