Description

Beautiful country house overlooking the valley

Located on a mountain, this beautiful country house has stunning views over the valley. You can easily see the forests and meadows around you. The view is truly breathtaking. From the living room, you look over the beautiful garden. On the balcony you can enjoy the morning sunshine the nature around you. You might even spot a deer. During the warm summer evenings, you can have a cosy barbecue with the group. The house is very comfortably furnished

The area around the house has very much to offer. You can go on beautiful hikes in the area. Or bring your mountain bike and conquer the hills.
Not far from the house is a brewery La Brasserie de la Lienne. Nice to visit once.

The towns of Stavelot, Trois Ponts, Vielsalm and La Roche-en Ardenne are typical Ardennes towns and have plenty of beautiful buildings and sights. In Coo you will find the waterfalls of the same name, and the amusement park PlopsaCoo which is an adventure for your children

5 days was our verlif and 5 days we had no internet. So no TV too be able to watch. The blankets and pillows did smell too. And also cobwebs in the corners

Beautiful house, lovely views and suitable for the number of people as specified. Note: the driveway is steep though and very slippery if a bit damp

The house has a very nice location and surroundings: very quiet and many hiking possibilities nearby. The house was also clean on arrival. The house itself does have some defects: cupboards are loose, shelves in wardrobes are missing, dishwasher wobbles... The wifi is virtually non-existent, you couldn't send/receive messages or look up basic things (shops, activities). I find this really disastrous for this day and age. We also found it unwelcoming that there was no toilet paper available. Surely putting up a roll when people arrive from a trip is nicer. The bedrooms were spacious, and there was also plenty of room in the bathrooms. The showers were fine. Two of the three toilets do not allow you to wash your hands, which we also found a bit inconvenient at times.
