This magnificent residence is ideal for groups or family reunions. It consists of two houses, each with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Originally used to run the Château de Pierrepont estate (1775) by the de Saint John de Crevecoeur family, then by the family of Paul Peytral, Minister of the Interior at the beginning of the last century, the two houses have been luxuriously renovated by the current owners.
Every detail has been designed for your comfort (top-quality king-size bed, built-in vacuum cleaner, shower or bath in each bedroom, flat-screen TV, internet access, stereo, DVD player, etc.), without sacrificing the authenticity of the house, which they have endeavoured to respect: period furniture, traditional renovation materials, fireplace, stone walls and staircase, etc.
There is also a relaxation area with fitness equipment, a hammam, a jacuzzi for 6 people and a 15x5m outdoor swimming pool (mid-June to mid-September).
Nestled in a valley where a small river (the Thue) meanders, surrounded by numerous outbuildings, the two houses enjoy a large independent garden, one of which overlooks a very romantic pond.
The surrounding area will satisfy the most varied tastes: castles and historic towns, D-Day beaches (Caen Memorial), water sports, horse riding, hiking, etc.

Magnificent stone residences completely renovated and tastefully decorated within the splendid domain of Pierrepont. The mixture of the old with the modern comfort is totally successful. The photos on the site reflect the splendor of the house. The 6 bedrooms are equipped with bathroom. Superb appreciable luxury. 2 kitchens, one adjoining the dining room dining and another significantly larger ideal for sharing good culinary moments. 2 lounges, one with a magnificent fireplace conducive to calm and rest. Residence completely suitable for organizing a Christmas family. At our request, the owner, a great kindness, installed 2 fir trees of 2 m. The domain with its pond and its small wood is accessible to fish, to realize beautiful strolls and thus to benefit from nature. Its geographical situation allows to ally culture (close to the Caen memorial and the landing beaches) and nature. This Christmas 2019 left good and beautiful memories for the whole family.
Nice accommodation, peaceful setting
And beautiful old building, ideal for a combination of grandparents, two children with wives and 6 grandchildren. The only thing that was disappointing was the WiFi reception in some parts of the house.
Spacious house, great for 2 families or large families
A beautiful, spacious house in a secluded, peaceful setting. The property was spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard. The host was friendly, welcoming and proactive before and during our stay. The location is wonderfully quiet, but remains within easy reach of the towns and sights of the area. I would 100% recommend this property and I hope to return in the future.
