Description
This beautiful manor house was the staff quarters of a château built in 1775. It was later owned by Paul Peytral, the Minister of the Interior at the beginning of the last century. The current owners have renovated the entire estate, which consists of the château and several outbuildings.
This concerns the left part of the manor. Privacy is guaranteed and you have your own driveway, terrace, garden and parking space. Every detail has been designed with your comfort in mind (top quality king-size beds, built-in vacuum cleaner, one shower or bathroom per bedroom, flat-screen TV, internet access, stereo, DVD player, etc.) without sacrificing the authenticity of the house, which they have tried to respect: antique furniture, traditional renovation materials, fireplace, stone walls and staircase, etc. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and hotel quality linen.
The property is set in 10 hectares of land. There is a pond where you can go boating. A large playground with swing and trampoline. The cottage has its own private garden. A large pond adorns the beautiful garden and gives it a romantic feel. It is a lovely place to spend the summer days.
You can also use the new spa equipped with a hammam and a jacuzzi for 6 people, a fitness room and an outdoor 15x5m pool (mid-June to mid-September).
The surrounding area will satisfy the most varied tastes: castles and historic towns, D-Day beaches (Caen Memorial), water sports, horse riding, hiking, etc.

a beautifully renovated country house in the grounds of a chateau. Beautifully furnished with a large kitchen and an extremely romantic staircase to the large bedrooms, each with its own shower. There is actually very little to complain about. Very friendly reception. Virtually the only sound you hear is the birds, which all the time let you know that they are having a great time.

Friendly welcome and everything well explained by the owner. Well equipped kitchen. Great beds. Only the seats are too small and the couch is very bad. Owner has promised to do something about it. Beautiful and peaceful environment. A very nice vacation spot.
the owner was on vacation at the time of our arrival (we were informed by e-mail) and the gardener did the tour, well, tour ... apart from pointing out obvious things he didn't know anything. (typical character of the gardener, according to the owner .. but we have no message of course .. It is a beautiful building in a beautiful setting !! definitely worth a visit !! property beautifully renovated and in an exceptionally beautiful and quiet We also felt almost lord of the castle ... However .. the interior of the house is a bit less .. the seat (for two people) really leaves something to be desired and is more than worn out and absolutely not inviting to go in sitting, and there is not enough seating for six people in the living room.The following facilities were promised on the site of Belvilla, but were not available: Fireplace, barbecue, ping pong table, (working) stereo The promised dryer was defective in our arrival and in the kitchen was missing a special pipe piece to the thermos of the coffee maker, so that making coffee was almost impossible unless with very inventive bricolage .. The cottage was very clean on arrival and the linen smelled very fresh. There was only one dish towel in the kitchen (which is little for a whole week ..). Wifi weak and sometimes falls away. In short: the household effects (including the comfort facilities) need a major upgrade (for the rental price of 1200 to 1700 € for a week below par ..) and then this holiday is a real gem in Normandy !!!
The caretaker met us and gave us the key. High quality accommodation . Nice private garden .
