Description
This spacious holiday home is located in the municipality of Friedrichshöhe, a district of Eisfeld. The house has all the amenities you need and a wood stove in the living area creates a cosy atmosphere. The terrace and garden are the perfect place to sunbathe or have a barbecue. Friedrichshöhe is located directly on the "Rennsteig" ridge trail within the Thuringian Forest, also known as the "Green Heart" because of its central location in Germany. The place was once the smallest community in the GDR and has now been turned into the "Thuringian Forest" nature park, therefore being spared from hotels and tourist facilities. Here you will find rest and relaxation in a fantastic, unique and natural environment. You can enjoy the stunning, almost unspoiled nature here in both summer and winter. Well-marked hiking trails are sure to excite any nature lover. Cyclists will also find a wide range of appealing routes, such as the Werra cycle path. In winter, well-groomed cross-country ski trails, groomed slopes, ski hiking trails and toboggan slopes round off the list of attractive activities. Excursions in the area include: Eisfeld Castle with museum, Veste Coburg, ruins of Schaumburg, Lauscha, Masserberg, Lichtenhain/mountain railway.

We hebben een prettig verblijf gehad in Villa - fenced Mythos 4. De keuken was goed uitgerust, wat koken gemakkelijk maakte. De locatie was ideaal voor dagtochten en we vonden het heerlijk om terug te keren naar de rust van de villa. Een geweldige uitvalsbasis om Kreta te verkennen.
Deze plek is een verborgen parel! Ruim genoeg voor ons gezin van zes, met alle voorzieningen die we nodig hadden, De locatie is rustig, omgeven door prachtige natuur, Mis het nabijgelegen Museum für Glaskunst Lauscha niet - het is een must-visit!
A relaxing retreat! The holiday home is perfectly situated for exploring the nature park, We enjoyed every moment, from cooking in the well-equipped kitchen to lounging on the terrace, A perfect spot for unwinding and enjoying the outdoors!
Great spot if you wanna escape the city, The house is huge, and we had more than enough space for our group, The garden is perfect for soaking up the sun or just chilling, The host was super friendly and made sure we felt at home, The area is really quiet, just what we wanted, There are some nice hiking paths around, and we also checked out Eisfeld Castle which was cool, Only downside was the heating took a little while to kick in, but overall, a solid stay!
Eine solide Wahl für Naturliebhaber, Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten, von Küchengeräten bis zu gemütlichen Decken, Wir hatten viel Spaß beim Erkunden der Umgebung, besonders der Wanderwege, Würde für einen Familienrückzugsort empfehlen!
