Our Elbkoje is a maritime open-plan attic flat for two people in the side extension of our Friesenhaus, situated in a quiet location in the southern part of Brunsbüttel. From container giants to cruise liners ... they all have to pass you by. The Brunsbüttel Ports harbour and the lock facilities are nearby. All this can be explored on an extended walk. The town of Brunsbüttel with its 13,000 inhabitants is located at the junction of the Elbe and the Kiel Canal and is the southernmost municipality in the district of Dithmarschen. The industrial and harbour town has the most important seaport on the west coast of Schleswig-Holstein. Economically, the town is part of the Hamburg metropolitan region. Brunsbüttel is famous for the locks of the Kiel Canal, the world's busiest artificial waterway.
