Hiding in the Provencal hills and surrounded by vineyards, this is a characteristic 5-bedroom villa in La Motte. In the garden, there is a private swimming pool with an outdoor shower and loungers to enjoy the sunny days. You can stay here in comfort with a large family of 8 members or two smaller families.
This area comprises of rolling hills covered with pine trees and the typical sound of the cicadas. The town centre of La Motte is just 2 km away if you wish to wander through the old streets. Restaurants and supermarkets are at 3 km if you wish to explore locally. There is a lake at 15 km, a short drive away, for a pleasant day out. The sea beach with water sports options is a half-an-hour drive away.
Equipped with the air-conditioning facility, the holiday rental in France ensures a comfortable stay. On the private roofed terrace, you can enjoy barbecuing over charcoal in the evenings. In the private garden, you can relax and play ball games with children.
Nice airport is 80 km.

The house itself was quite ok, but with some flaws. A lot of noise in the area / swimming pool was no longer cleaned in the last 3/4 and this while there was a lot of wind at the time and so extra waste in the pool / contact person I called at least 5 times and there was never answered or called back / a lot of odor nuisance because of a poor drainage system.
The house in La Motte is beautiful. The house is spacious with 5 bedrooms and a large kitchen and the garden is lovely with a nice swimming pool. Outside you can sit comfortably covered in the evening. Due to the presence of a walnut tree in the garden, there are few mosquitoes. That's really nice! The location is also excellent and the fact that the house is located directly on a road is not a problem. However, there are also a few points that we are less enthusiastic about. We had mice in the house. Especially at night they kept us awake with running behind the walls. All the food was cleared away, but it didn't stop them from visiting this house. The house has air conditioning on the BG on the 2nd floor, but not on the 1st floor. That makes 4 bedrooms on the 1st floor very warm. Finally, the manager only speaks French. And since we don't speak that, it's not possible to communicate if you need anything. Requests such as extra towels / sheets, questions about the presence of a pool light and problems with the front door key were not or barely responded to. As I write this we are half way through our stay. Despite the mice, we enjoy our holiday in La Motte. For us already the 14th year in this region. That says enough I think, should a next guest have doubts about this region. But the mouse infestation will make us decide to look for another villa next year.
The house is very nice and the photos are consistent with the house. No surprise. The outside setting is very pretty. We were 8 people 4 adults and 4 children and everyone was able to enjoy the house without being on top of each other. The only downside is that the road is busy and the neighboring company with its dogs who bark very often at night and the noise of trucks.
This is a very well renovated historic property with all the necessary needs for a nice holiday. The owners obviously use it as well so it has lots of attention to the details you require. Some might not like the fact that there is no TV and low data Wifi. We were early in the season, May, renters so the pool was too chilly and could have been cleaner. Terrific wine available everywhere and lots of quality restaurants and markets. You will need the list of market days in the villages they are super.
Geweldig appartement met alle moderne voorzieningen. We konden gemakkelijk de nabijgelegen restaurants verkennen en het strand was op korte loopafstand. Als u op zoek bent naar een comfortabele plek met uitzicht, dan is dit de plek!
