Cottage almost on top of the mountain, at the front beautiful view over the valley and Lake Trasimeno. The house is quite sober but completely and furnished with care. Only part of the dilapidated farm has been refurbished and turned into a holiday home. It is 13 km by car down - foot of the mountain. A good car (4×4) is recommended. Plenty to see and do in the area. Cortona is also a nice town. Seen a lot of animals, especially insects. Had to catch a scorpion from the bedrooms several times.
Wonderfully quiet stay, 5 degrees cooler than Cortona because it is higher. Wifi especially outside very good. Beautiful fire pit.
De cabin is gelegen op een mooie plek omringd door natuur op een zachte helling, met velden in de buurt, Iris woont in het charmante stadje Cortona, op korte afstand, Ze was zeer gastvrij, Het huis en zijn omgeving creëren een rustige sfeer, rijk aan geschiedenis, Deze locatie is ideaal voor ontspanning en wandelavonturen
De locatie is vrij afgelegen, maar toch handig dichtbij Cortona, De cottage is mooi en heeft een rustieke charme, precies wat we zochten, Er zijn wandelpaden in de buurt die een oude Romeinse weg volgen, Houd er echter rekening mee dat er extra verwarmingskosten zijn die niet eerder zijn vermeld bij het boeken
We had a wonderful time at this charming cottage, It was spotless and had all the essentials, Our favorite feature was the outdoor grill, which was fantastic, The host was very kind and accommodating
Eine wunderschöne Aussicht und ein charmantes, rustikales Haus, Der offene Kamin war an kalten Abenden sehr angenehm, Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen
