To the west of Guissény stands Île Vierge, home to the tallest stone lighthouse in Europe, which can be reached by boat from the port of Aber Wrac’h. Here you will also find a lively sailing port, specialty restaurants, and views of many small offshore islands. To the east lies the restored fishing village of Meneham, famous for its exhibitions and spectacular rocky coastline. In nearby Lesneven, a weekly Monday market offers fresh local specialties, while the port of Le Corejou in Plouguerneau hosts the traditional seaweed festival every last Sunday in August.
