From Oberstadtfeld you can reach tourist destinations such as the Eifelsteig, the Kosmusradweg, the Dolomites near Gerolstein or the Kaltwasser - Geyser in Wallenborn in a short time. And the Nürburgring is only 30 minutes away by car.
The highlight of this holiday apartment is the large terrace and the garden with a hammock. In the fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, you can make yourself comfortable in the rustic seating area when the weather isn't playing along. If necessary, an additional person can be accommodated on the sofa bed in the living room.

Spacious, comfortable holiday home located in the Eifel. The holiday home has a somewhat dated interior, but that does not detract from the comfort. During our stay, the house was always nice and cool inside, despite the fact that the outside temperature rose above 30 degrees on some days. The spacious backyard is shared with the owners, who are very friendly and happy to chat. The hammock is a nice addition to relax on in the open air. If you want a little more privacy, you can also sit outside on the terrace in the front garden. There are several walking routes around the house that are definitely worth a walk. The nature in the area is very beautiful and in some places you can even see solidified lava that dates from the time when there were active volcanoes. Several excursions can be made from Oberstadtfeld, such as a visit to the cold water geyser in Wallenborn, a visit to one of the "Maaren" (volcanic lakes) or a hike to the "Burgruine Freudenkoppe" in Neroth.
We had a very pleasant experience with our stay at "Am Winkelbach 3" in Oberstadtfeld. We were warmly welcomed by the owner. He told us that we could use the garden with a hammock. We didn't do this, but it looked very nice. The next day his wife brought us tomatoes from his own garden and a few days later she came with a stack of clean towels. Other than that, they left us completely alone. The house is very spacious and fully equipped. A spacious kitchen and the same bathroom. Also a great living room, but we always sat in the kitchen. There is a lot of information in the cottage about what to do in the area. A wonderful bed, we slept like roses. We had a beautiful walk every day with a lot of climbing. We came face to face with deer, saw black woodpeckers, we thought the forests were magical. We also visited Koblenz and Trier. We found Koblenz in particular to be a very appealing city, a city with a lot to see. All in all, we are very positive about the house, the surroundings and also about the owners.
