Welcome to the heart of the Thuringian Forest! Our holiday village Bad Hundertpfund is situated in an idyllic, sunny and quiet location in the middle of the forest, approx. 1.5 km outside Großbreitenbach (state-recognised resort, UNESCO biosphere region). We have 9 spacious, modern and comfortably equipped holiday homes of different sizes (one barrier-free), ideal for families and groups. The legendary Rennsteig, the longest high-altitude hiking trail in Germany, is approx. 8 km away. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous hiking trails, groomed cross-country ski trails and groomed ski trails with scenic routes. The nearest ski slope (with ski hire and ski school) is also only approx. 5 km away. In the region, extraordinary attractions such as castles (Wartburg), palaces (with falconry), show mines (Feengrotten), glass blowing (Lauscha), mountain railways (Oberweißbach), zoo (Erfurt), zoos (Arnstadt, Suhl), museums (toys, natural history, bunkers) or summer and winter toboggan runs offer very special experiences.
