Gérardmer ski area is thrilling and you can also enjoy langlaufen in the winter. Both supermarket and restaurants are at 4 km and brings food and shopping within reach.
There is cosy electric heating, a hallway and living room with TV to keep you comfortable indoors. You can cook delicious food in the open kitchen and enjoy it from the furnished terrace watching the beautiful natural surroundings. 2 pets are allowed to accompany you here.

this house is unsanitary (mold, humidity) the bedding is stained and of poor quality, the equipment does not exist, this house from another age should never have been rented out and accepted by the site which is supposedly a pledge of quality, we did not stay and had to go home ...
The house was difficult to find; our accommodation ticket stated as Route de Lemont 1 and then no. 3 should be. The owner saw us driving around and brought us to the right place. The accommodation was very old and dingy. We cleaned (almost) everything with a disinfactant that we had with us.The 2 bed had a very weak mattress, on which we slept badly. The view from the garden was great, very beautiful and wide.
The cottage is situated in a very quiet and beautiful area, overlooking the valley with Vagney. From the cottage are a few walks to take and with a bit of driving even more. "In the morning you wake up with the sound of cows and at night it is beautiful looking at stars. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They speak no English, but with a little French and hand gestures is much to achieve.The cottage itself is simple and older, but clean. We have mostly been outside, where there is a picnic table and parasol. We found self-taken garden chairs handy.In Vagney (about 10 minutes drive from the cottage) is a supermarket, but we found the supermarket Leclerc at Remiremont (about 5 minutes further) much more pleasant.

After 6 hours of driving with stops, everything is very relaxt, you will come to a special location! If you like silence and walk then you are at a very good address. The house is simple to simple but everything is there and the car can also come in! The surroundings are really more than beautiful and everywhere walks are set from easy to difficult! You can not get lost. Supermarket in the village, 4 km drive. And by car making wonderful trips over the mountain tops, then it must be nice weather otherwise you will not see anything. We have enjoyed 100% and will definitely be back.
Fantastic location. The cottage basic, old but clean and everything works. Good beds. Owner lives a house, nice people. Upon arrival, kindly received and shown in the house, after a cup of coffee at the owner's home. Surrounding area is beautiful. From the location, the forest is in walking distance.
