The locals say that Arco da Calheta has the best micro-climate. The apartment is in a quiet location. Just 5 minutes from Calheta Beach with its golden sandy beaches, Marina with dolphin and whale watching excursions, and deep-sea fishing boats for charter. Restaurants, supermarkets, shops. banks, a big supermarket named 'Pingo Doce'. Driving towards Funchal you will find Madalena do Mar where there are restaurants, bars, and a rocky beach. Further on is Ribeira Brava, with many quaint little shops plus a small market, a large supermarket & a number of restaurants.
