Description

This country house in the Ardennes is a former hotel that has been converted into a holiday home and has 12 bedrooms. Ideal for a family reunion. In the very large room with indoor swimming pool, you will also find a bubble bath and a sauna. Nature lovers can walk in the Hoge Venen nature park, where peace and quiet reign. In Malmédy, you will find shops and restaurants. A beer, brewed with the famous Ardennes spring water, can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the cosy tasting room of the Bellevaux brewery. The nearby lake area of Robertville and Bütgenbach is highly recommended for water sports enthusiasts. Here you can canoe, sail, fish, dive and swim. The kitchen is fully equipped including oven, microwave and dishwasher. In the living room, you will also find a bar. The recreation room has a table tennis table, table football and billiards. There is also playground equipment available for children. The house is not rented to groups of young people. Student parties, bachelor parties or other parties are not allowed in this house. It is not allowed to bring a sound system and after 22:00 the peace and quiet must be respected in this quiet environment.

What a beautiful location! We went here with our group of friends. Because of Corona we haven't been able to do much outdoors, but this house has everything you need. We have been there for 3 days and we never got bored. The living and sleeping area is somewhat dated but certainly not in bad condition. I see in many reviews that there is mold and old beds/mattresses. That is certainly no longer the case. Everything looks very neat and tidy and all the beds have been replaced, so no more old mattresses! Because it has been an old hotel, each bedroom has a separate bathroom, these are also not new, but in excellent condition! The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were later added to the main building and are very modern furnished. The water was already at the right temperature when we arrived and the costs to keep everything warm were not that bad! We were received very hospitably by Sara. She speaks good English (In other reviews it says that is not the case, I already downloaded a translation app ;) ). This is definitely recommended if you want to have a nice weekend with friends and/or family.

We stayed a weekend with a group of friends and really enjoyed our stay.The pool area was perfect with the sauna, jacuzzi and pool. Lots of other things to do like pingpong, darts and a pool table.The kitchen was clean and had everything needed for a group, like big two big fridges.Rooms are simple, with good and clean beds and even have a shower/bath inside !We will definitely come back in the future :)

Nice house for a large group. Nice layout in terms of kitchen, dining area, pool table and pool. Very dated but not a problem for us.
