Very quiet area, unobstructed view, lots of privacy, friendly owner. Accommodation is rural gîte type and simple, but reasonably well equipped. Quite steep stairs to the sleeping floor and a shortage of beds (max 1.90 m).
Beautiful apartment in a beautiful (rural) environment. Friendly people with attention to your privacy.
Cozy part of a larger rural home. Very friendly and helpful (English) owners. House is situated on a large piece of land with fantastic views. A delimited part, with garden table and bbq is especially for the tenants of the gite. Setting is beautiful, with nice medieval towns nearby.
Everything nice and clean and nicely decorated. Cordial people. Beautiful view from the gite. Environment very beautiful.
Very friendly and discreet owner, privacy is respected by the family. The location is remote and a car is an absolute necessity to buy your daily bread (9 km). The biggest downside of the house is undeniably the gloomy interior. On a sunny day and when you leave the door and window open, there is light enough to read or do some manual work. From 17h00 on the light has to be turned on and there is hardly any. A 25 W light illuminates the living / dining room and in the kitchen you need a flashlight to use the appliances safely. The upstairs has the same problems, the small bathroom is well lit. The brocante table in the kitchen is far too low, I can not put my legs under the table (I am 1.75m). The stairs to the first floor is very smooth and steep, certainly not suitable for elderly people. One last comment, during my stay, I did not have to use the internet for a single day, every day he was out of service, the DVD player did not work. You can not be influenced latan by the photos, they are drawn with flash and that gives a distorted picture of the lighting, even my pictures are very beautiful and bright.
Good reception by the English owners. Nice holiday home where all basic necessities are present. The garden is phenomenal as only Englishmen can. 2 hectares of freedom of movement. Beautiful and well maintained. There is much to discover in the area, actually an undiscovered gem. Negatives: the bed is not made for people taller than 1.90 m. The D-road behind the house is busy and be careful.
