The quaint village of Gröbming is located at 776 meters above sea level, in the Enns Valley in Styria, right between the Stoderzinken and Kammspitze mountain peaks in the Schladming - Dachstein holiday region, where sport and adventure are high on the agenda!

The Hauser Kaibling ski area, near Gröbming, is one of Austria's best ski areas and provides access to the Schladming - Dachstein ski region, with a breathtaking panorama from its highest point at over 2,000 meters. The '4-Berge-Skischaukel' Schladming links the four major ski areas Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. Discover more than 123 km of fantastically groomed slopes and a beautiful winter landscape. The Galsterberg with 11 km of superb pistes and 3 fun-rides leaves nothing to be desired for skiers, winter sports enthusiasts, families or ski tourers and can be reached in about 20 minutes. Fun off the slopes is provided by a 5 km-long toboggan run.

Besides golf, tennis and hiking, Austria's largest adventure park in Gröbming offers pure adrenaline for real daredevils! Gröbming is also a true paradise for mountain bike lovers. The Planai cable car takes bikers quickly and comfortably to the Schladminger Planai and directly to the Bikepark Schladming. In summer, the recreational lake Irdning or the public swimming pool in Gröbming offer the necessary cooling down, and a tip for all year round is the therme Grimming in Bad Mitterndorf!
