Splendid Chalet in Durbuy with Garden
Description
This homely chalet is located in Durbuy, amid the Belgian Ardennes region. This fully equipped chalet has a furnished garden for you to enjoy a steaming cup of coffee and barbecue in the evenings. Central heating will keep indoors cosy and relaxing.
The Durbuy town centre is 5 km away. The local grocery store is only 3 km away if you run out of your daily essentials. Durbuy Golf Club and The Labyrinth of Barvaux-sur-ourthe are a short drive away. Caves of Hotton is a geological gem, easily accessible by car and definitely worth a visit. Liège lies to the north, Namur o the west and Luxembourg to the right. A little further would let you get into country of Luxembourg.
The terrace in the home offers some outdoor time with your family. You can park your vehicles in the parking available. A recreation room with table football and billiards will keep you entertained without increasing your screen time.

Very spacious chalet with all amenities. Good beds and lots of comfort. Clean sheets and sanitary facilities. Only in terms of cleaning was this disappointing. The floors were not very clean and there was also a nice layer of dust and spider webs were visible.
Good and neat chalet. Heating ok. Insufficient availability of glasses for 9 people. On 1 bed above bad mattress. An information sheet on site with all useful accommodation information would be practical.
Happy Wood is a super nice chalet with a lovely atmosphere. Super large, very complete including a fantastic games room in the basement (football table, billiards, dart machine). A few minor points: few sockets by modern standards, WiFi is very slow, it is quite dusty - even on arrival -, showering is quite a challenge in the two bathrooms with a bath but no shower cabin, and the new sofas are guaranteed to provide a hernia up, they are that hard. It shouldn't spoil the fun, this was our second visit to happy wood and it certainly won't be the last visit. Next time we'll bring a set of power strips 😉.
Beautiful chalet, many beautiful walks done!
Beautiful and spacious chalet for 2 families (in our case 4 adults and 5 children). 2 separate bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and a nice extra "tje is the games room with table football and pool table. Very quiet neighborhood and for shopping, Durbuy and Barvaux are within 10 minutes by car. Beautiful area for walking and bicycles Good contact with the owner.
