The ground floor consists of three rooms plus a small toilet. There is a large kitchen with gas cooker and oven, fireplace-barbecue, fridge, dishwasher; the glass door leads directly out onto the courtyard where there is a furnished area for sitting outdoors. The other two rooms, in view of each other, are furnished with custom-made sofas and armchairs and furniture and paintings by the owners; one of them has a beautiful stone fireplace and both open onto the farmyard.A stone staircase leads to the first floor with three bedrooms and a dressing room. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and ensuite bathroom-tub. The other two each have two single beds, which can also be joined, and share a bathroom-shower. The furniture renews the tradition of the Tuscan countryside: iron beds, wardrobes built into the walls. The house is airy and well-lit at any time of day. Fully equipped for six people, both in the kitchen and in the bedrooms and bathrooms. A barbecue is possible in the kitchen. On the ground floor, a living room with fireplace forms the centre of the house. From here you have access to the three bedrooms: one with a double bed, another with two single beds and the third with two single beds and adjoining shower. The single beds can be joined. The other bathroom has a bathtub.A wooden staircase leads up to the mezzanine where there is a large kitchen/dining room with a fireplace for barbecues. From here you exit onto a terrace with an iron table and chairs. Another terrace, also with iron table and chairs, shaded by two old oak trees, overlooks the valley. It is located 1.3 km from Montefollonico and 7 km from Montepulciano, in a secluded and panoramic position, with a wide view over the valley of Montepulciano, the temple of San Biagio, the summit of Monte Amiata and the hills of the Val d'Orcia . To preserve the rural character, we have chosen not to have a swimming pool. There are 4 cats on the property, with adequate shelter, well cared for and under veterinary supervision. About 400 metres from the provincial road, the house is only accessible via a private dirt road, in the midst of olive groves, vineyards and woods, in the peaceful Tuscan countryside.Parking at the entrance to the property.
