The Deichkieker holiday home is located approx. 1 km from the centre of Tossens. Just follow the road to the beach and you can walk to the dyke in 15 minutes. Just around the corner there is a supermarket with a bakery for fresh bread rolls in the morning and furthermore a delicious pizzeria and several restaurants. The Deichkieker holiday home has 2 floors. On the lower floor there is an open-plan living/dining area with a sofa and an armchair for relaxing, a large flat screen TV, a wood-burning stove for cosy warmth, a fully equipped kitchen (coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, oven, etc.), a guest WC, a small storage room and on the upper floor there is a separate bathroom. On the upper floor there is a bedroom (box spring bed 180 x 200) with a wonderful balcony and view of the dyke and a children's room (box spring bed 160 x 200), in the bedroom and guest room there is a flat screen TV), a bathroom with its own sauna. After a sauna session, enjoy the peace and quiet and the view across fields and meadows to the dyke. There is also a barbecue (on request), garden furniture and some fly screens on the windows and doors. The tropical adventure pool Aqua Mundo in the CenterParc on the North Sea coast is approx. 800 metres away for all those who want to have fun or experience a varied water world. (with water slides, whirlpools and many other things to discover) Whether alone, as a couple or as a family with a dog, in the North Sea resort of Tossens, those seeking peace and quiet as well as active holidaymakers will get their money's worth. Explore the sights of the region by bike and experience the Wadden Sea on foot. If you like, you can catch your own fresh fish in the town's fishing ponds or go to one of the good fish restaurants in the town. The small village of Tossens is located directly on the dyke and just behind it you will find Friesenstrand, Germany's only themed beach with sand for digging and dreaming and a marvellous view of the North Sea. This beach is the beach of little pirates. A ship awaits conquerors, a cable car and a climbing net offer discovery potential for little buccaneers. The slightly older ones and the really big ones can have fun with beach volleyball, football, kite flying and the sea. Or they can enjoy the view from a cosy beach chair - just as they please. A 250 km long and well-developed network of cycle paths offers you the opportunity to explore the Butjadingen peninsula. In the cutter harbour of Fedederwardersiel, about 10 km away, there is a selection of beautiful excursions and fishing trips. Similarly close is Burhave, where you can swim in summer even at low tide and the children have lots of fun in the play barn. Our tip: Visit the Hanseatic city of Bremen, stroll through the old Schnoor district, enjoy a cool drink on the Weser promenade and experience the advantages of this cosy city. The seaside city of Bremerhaven also has a lot to offer with the Zoo am Meer, the Emigration Centre and the Climate House. There is cosy garden furniture with cushions and a barbecue on the terrace.
