On foot you can quickly reach the climatic health resort of Friedrichroda and, after a short walk, even Reinhardsbrunn Castle. For a drive by car, the Hainich National Park with its wild cat village or the Wartburg and Eisenach are certainly attractive.

This park is known for its old trees. You can also stimulate your circulation in the Kneipp basins along the hiking trails
