In the immediate vicinity, you will find an outdoor swimming pool, Huis van Hilde (House of Hilde) about the archaeology of the area, various forts and mills and also the cosy centre of Uitgeest, which is definitely worth a visit. The park is easily accessible via the motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. Uitgeest is also located between the cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam, so plenty of opportunities for a wonderful stay with day trips!
