This is also where you can find the Grevelingendam beach, an ideal spot for water sports enthusiasts. There is a supermarket 800m away.
The home has a garden that offers a great view of the fields behind the house. The waterfront terrace at the back of the house is also a great place to sit and relax. There's a nice, modern kitchen where you can cook your meals and spend time together. From the spacious living room, you have a beautiful view of the garden and the meadows.

Complete house spacious modern.zomers lovely outside with veranda in the morning sun. Deck with water lilies and a view of the dike.
Very quiet and pleasant place. House is super comfortable, everything is there. Very nicely finished with the covered terrace. Ooltgensplaat also has the most beautiful marinas. In short, a must!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Goeree Overflakkee and in this house. The house is beautiful and complete. With a spacious living room, a nice kitchen and two bathrooms. An extra toilet on the sleeping floor is always welcome! The box spring beds sleep very well. The presence of screens on several windows was a pleasant surprise, especially at this time of year (September). The weather was nice and sunny when we were there, so we spent a lot of time with a stack of books on the terrace at the back, under the attractive canopy or on the sun loungers by the water. Privacy assured! Contact with the owners Sylvia and Ruud went smoothly and very pleasantly (thanks for the extra reading lamp!). The only downside that we have experienced: the stairs are a bit uncomfortable for people with limited mobility. On the island we mainly cycled and walked. The bicycle paths are spacious and the nature outside the dikes is beautiful. Bring binoculars and bird guide!
House: nice! Environment: very quiet Owners: responds immediately to your questions Owner: very prejudiced and blunt! The house we were in was really beautiful! The garden and the roof were also very much to our liking. Unlike the owner of the house, this was somewhat less. On our first day, someone came to our door to check. He himself started all about the fact that the week before a party was given by the previous tenants. He also told me that everyone knows each other well and that a party is quickly discovered and that the police are at the door quickly. I personally thought this was a bit strange for him to tell us this. (There were four of us and the youngest who came with us is 21 years old). The day of departure I had agreed with the owners to go a little earlier than 20:00 and this was no problem. We wanted to go at 5:30 pm. Once we arrived at our house (4:45 PM) we wanted to tidy up our last things to leave everything tidy, but then the owner of our house was already at the door. This was 45 minutes before the agreed time. I was upstairs myself, but I already heard a lot of complaints. It turned out that the owner was taking pictures of my car and trunk !! The gentleman also walked straight to a window to say that we had broken this. This was of course not the case, but were accused of this. We also received more accusations from the owner. What struck me most of all was that the owner also said to us that we were not able to afford this house at all. I found the closing very unpleasant because we were so biased. We were not asked how our weekend had been or anything like that, but immediately with the blunt hammer in it.
Beautiful house with a new extension so that you can now also sit outside when the weather is less. Wonderful that the beds are made and that everything is there, even towels, kitchen towels and tea towels. 2 bathrooms is also a wonderful luxury on holiday.
