The new 10-person gondola lift, within walking distance of the accommodation, was built in 2020. You can take the lift, called the ZellamseeXpress, to cross over to Zell am See-Kaprun and tackle Schmittenhöhe. If you spend a day skiing in the Saalbach area, the run down from there is also right next to the accommodation. You can easily reach the lifts in the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski area on the free ski bus. So if you come here for a winter sports holiday, you’ll have two wonderful, large ski areas right on your doorstep! You only have to walk a short distance. But this is also a lovely place to stay at other times of year. The well-known towns of Zell am See, Kaprun and Saalbach-Hinterglemm are just a few minutes away. On a warm summer’s day, take a refreshing dip in Lake Zell near Zell am See. And don’t forget to bring your hiking boots!
