The apartment is located on the ground floor of the Paterstöckl, a small house in the heart of Salzburg's cathedral district. First mentioned in 1601, the house is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was lovingly renovated in 2016. It enjoys a prime location, just 130 meters from Salzburg Cathedral and 500 meters from the Festival Hall, directly at the foot of Hohensalzburg Fortress.

The building contains only two apartments. These apartments have separate entrances and can be connected internally upon request (see our other listing for the entire house if you require more space).

The apartment presented here is the larger of the two and occupies the upper and attic floors. The entrance is at the rear of the house (facing Hohensalzburg Fortress) and, due to the house's gentle slope, is accessible at ground level except for a few steps. The furnishings, including the bathrooms and kitchen, are new. The apartment features underfloor heating in some areas and convectors in others. The kitchen and entryway have terrazzo flooring, one bedroom has wide, 19th-century natural wood floorboards, and the other rooms have high-quality new natural wood floorboards (please remove outdoor shoes from the apartment). The apartment layout is as follows:

Also provided: Wi-Fi, coffee maker, television, washing machine, bed linens, towels, toilet paper, soap, hairdryer, dish towels, iron, and smoke detectors. The kitchens are equipped with dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots, etc.

The building is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Salzburg's Old Town and was completely renovated in 2016 under strict historic preservation regulations. Here you will be living in the heart of the medieval ensemble of Salzburg's Old Town while enjoying modern living comforts.

The house is located in a pedestrian zone; there is no parking available. Access by private car is not possible. A taxi will take you to within 50 meters of the house.
