Floridia is a small town in the province of Syracuse on the east coast of Sicily. It was founded in 1628 and is characterized by a typical Mediterranean landscape. The sandy beach of Fontane Bianche and the beautiful rocky coasts can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
Activities nearby: The unique city of Syracuse is just a short drive from your holiday home. Even in ancient times it was considered very powerful and was once the cultural center of the Greeks. Even today, there are many testimonies to the long history of this special city, especially on the 40-hectare island of Ortygia, the heart of the old town, for which you should plan a day. A tour of the Vendicari nature reserve, around 40 kilometers away, a mixture of lagoons, sand dunes, rocky coastlines and sandy beaches, is also recommended. Here you can discover a variety of flora and fauna. Also visit the baroque town of Noto, which was almost completely destroyed in an earthquake in the 17th century and then completely rebuilt

Geweldige locatie voor een ontspannend uitje! Het buitenzwembad was een bonus en we genoten van het barbecueën in de tuin. De keuken was goed uitgerust, waardoor het gemakkelijk was om maaltijden te bereiden,
Schoon, comfortabel en goed uitgerust! Ik vond het leuk om in de kitchenette te koken en de nabijgelegen restaurants maakten uit eten gaan een fluitje van een cent. Zou zeker terugkomen.
