In summer, various lidos attract sun-seekers and water sports enthusiasts, in winter you can let the wind blow you through and let your mind wander. Those looking for cultural inspiration should take a day trip to Szczecin, on the western side of the Oder. The city is of course strongly influenced by the river and has a very interesting cityscape with several islands.
