Home sweet home

The booking of the house was very easy, and if there were any problems or questions, you received friendly assistance right away!

the maintenance of the seat (small garden)

The house is completely sufficient for 5 people and very nicely furnished. The location was perfect for us. It was not directly in the hustle and bustle, allowing us to find peace and relaxation. The bike ride to the beach was also manageable. Unfortunately, the garden was very unkempt and there was no sun umbrella. We informed the management about this, but there was no response. That was not acceptable for us. Otherwise, it was a very nice vacation.

On the first day, we called for a parasol, which was supposed to be brought but wasn’t! We had to move the garden table back and forth to get a bit of shade. The fan that was there was so dirty that it didn’t function; after a thorough cleaning by us, it was acceptable. Clean is different. The carpet in the living room was covered in stains. The artificial grass mat was full of dog poop near the hedge, and there were stains and holes everywhere. The garden LED lighting was broken and was lying in a heap under the hedge. Nice... The distance to the beach was presented to us as 450 meters. However, it was actually 4.5 km. So, in summary, we will never do this again!

The vacation home has some advantages, such as its good location and easy parking options. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a serious hygiene issue. Our youngest son slept in the available crib (as previously indicated by the owner) and suffered several bedbug bites. We even used our own sheets and sleeping bag. While I understand that bedbugs can occur anywhere, I found the owner's response particularly disappointing. After I reported this, I received no response at all. I was not expecting compensation, but I did hope for some concern or at least a reply. The lack of follow-up gives the impression that this issue is not taken seriously. I am posting this review mainly to warn future guests, so they can be alert and hopefully avoid having the same unpleasant experience.
