"Former monastery house, a stone house on the north coast of Crete overlooking the bay and the hamlet of Elounda, just 15 minutes walk from the beach. The rustic holiday home is located in the village of Mavrikiano. The apartment has been carefully renovated and the stone walls with arches create a unique atmosphere. From the terrace you have a magnificent view of the Gulf of Mirabello and Elounda. Thanks to the existing outdoor kitchen, you can comfortably eat together here.
The sandy beach and the village of Elounda are around 15 minutes away (approx. 1 km). Elounda is located on the Mirabello Gulf and offers a beautiful coastline with sandy and rocky beaches and nature with almond and olive trees. Excursion boats depart from Elounda for the island of Spinalonga with its impressive Venetian fort.
This area also offers many opportunities for hikers, for example a coastal walk from Elounda to Placa (approx. 5 km). It is around 75 km to Heraklion Airport.

Het appartement was een heerlijke ontsnapping! Het terras bood een prachtig uitzicht op de baai van Mirabello en we waren dol op de buitenkeuken voor onze barbecues, ideaal voor familiebijeenkomsten!
Deze plek had alles wat we nodig hadden voor een ontspannende vakantie. De volledig uitgeruste keuken stelde ons in staat om gemakkelijk maaltijden te bereiden en de open haard was een welkome toevoeging voor de koelere avonden.
