Agriturismo Il Pratone is located a short distance from the historic centre of Castiglione d'Orcia in a splendid panoramic position with a wide view of the Orcia river valley. The farmhouse where guests are staying is surrounded by an olive grove and borders on a tall oak forest. The secluded position and the environmental richness of this corner of the Val d'Orcia make the farmhouse ideal for relaxing stays in close contact with nature. The small family-run farm occupies an area of five hectares: three hectares are occupied by an olive grove. The farm has obtained organic certification for its products. The flat on the ground floor is furnished with Tuscan arte povera furniture. The total number of beds is 4+2 (four in the two bedrooms, two in the living room where there is a sofa bed). Outside there is a veranda and a masonry and portable barbecue. In the garden of the farmhouse there is a 6 x 12 metre swimming pool. The property is entirely surrounded by the countryside of Castiglione d'Orcia. Guests of the farmhouse can make use of garden furniture and tables for outdoor dining.
