Cascais and Sintra can also be reached by car in around 45 minutes. Sesimbra is located south of Lisbon in the Alenteijo. The harbour town of Setubal with the ferry to the beautiful Troia peninsula can be reached in approx. 30 minutes. The route leads through the impressive Arrabida nature reserve - one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Europe. The leisure activities on offer leave nothing to be desired: wonderful golf courses (approx. 9 km away), riding on Lusitanos - the impressive Portuguese horse breed (special prices for guests at the Cascais Riding Club), surfing, diving, fishing and much more nearby.
