Really beautiful apartment
Our stay was quite pleasant, though the place was a bit smaller than we anticipated, However, it worked perfectly for us as we only needed it as a place to sleep while we were touring around Paris, The location was superb, very close to Gare Du Nord and Saint Martin canal, The host was quick to respond and allowed us to check out a few hours later, The place was neat, clean and had a modern design, The only downside was the need to be buzzed in every time we wanted to enter the apartment, There were a few instances when we had to wait for a while to be buzzed in, which is not ideal when you're young tourists out late at night! It would have been much more convenient if we had our own key or code for the main door, While the apartment did have an electronic lock with a code, I would have felt more secure if there was a traditional key lock or bolt on the inside, I don't have complete faith in technology! Also, the blind in the ceiling window wouldn't close, so if morning sunlight bothers you, bring an eye mask,
Likely due to issues in translation from French to English, the instructions for entry were not clear in some areas, The confusion was not resolved during the discussion before check-in, Recommend less dependence on 'smart locks' and suggest making the apartment numbers more visible or larger, Nevertheless, everything was excellent and as per the description once the check-in issue was handled, Highly recommended,
The flat, although small, is cozy and situated in a perfect location for those familiar with Paris, eager to explore a different side, You can easily reach various districts by foot or train, Generally, the courtyard is peaceful, However, privacy is limited as the skylight opens up to the building above and there's only one window facing the building's garbage bins, But if you're in Paris for sightseeing, this won't bother you much, as you won't be spending a lot of time at home and it's a lovely place to relax, We had some issues communicating with several agents concerning our requirements, especially the fact that we didn't receive a code to enter the building and had to wait to be let in each time, which can be frustrating and inconvenient, Nevertheless, we were three people and managed to fit quite comfortably, even managing to do laundry, ironing, and vacuuming, So, it's all about your approach,
The home has been renovated and this is positive
Rather in the Stalingrad area than near the canal, Other than that the apartment is nice and quite clean
