River Tornion-Muonionjoki flowing next to the cabin is the longest salmon river in Europe. Other fish species are grayling and trout. The joint permit area of Tornion-Muonionjoki-Könkämäeno is popular among fishermen. The traditional fishing method on the river is salmon rowing, but there are also good fishing spots on the beach.
