This modern holiday apartment for a maximum of 6 people is located in an apartment complex in Tauplitz in the Salzkammergut in Styria, about 5 minutes' walk from the town center, in a quiet location and with a wonderful view.
The holiday apartment is on the ground floor and offers a spacious living room with a sofa bed, a modern, open and fully equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a beautiful indoor swimming pool and a wellness area with solarium and sauna for shared use in the apartment complex.
Tauplitz is located in the heart of Austria, in the Ausseerland - Salzkammergut, and at 1650m is the highest lake plateau in Central Europe. It offers countless hiking routes such as the 6 Lakes hike as well as bike and cycling tours. The Tauplitz is also the largest single ski area and, with the Tauplitzalm - Bad Mitterndorf ski area, offers 43 kilometers of slopes from 900 - 1965 meters above sea level on 3 mountains. The ski lift to this ski area is within walking distance from the apartment complex.
There is another ski area in Altaussee, the Loser ski resort (approx. 25 km away) with 34 kilometers of fog-free and snow-sure slopes.
In summer, the Alpenbad Bad Mitterndorf indoor swimming pool or Lake Altaussee offer lots of swimming fun! The GrimmingTherme in Bad Mitterndorf with 3 indoor and 4 outdoor pools as well as relaxation areas on 5 levels is also worth a visit all year round. Popular excursion destinations are Bad Aussee and Hallstatt (14 and 30 km away respectively).
Directly in Tauplitz or Bad Mitterndorf there are plenty of shopping opportunities for your daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.

Tauplitz is a nice base for excursions. Apartment is not very clean and is sparsely furnished.
The apartment was furnished with everything you need. You shouldn't expect any luxury and just see the positive and you will have a mega vacation. The location is great ... The view of the mountains is indescribable ... SAUNA AND pool are priceless !! For everything else, the Mastercard grins ... met great, friendly people .... discovered hiking for us and great hiking trails .... with great little old hats on top ..... with great landlady and great food. ... No chips or anything .... Real food ..... BRARENBROT ... GULASH .... MhmhmhmmmmmGreat vacation

When we arrived in Tauplitz we had no idea where to go, No point of contact there, After consultation with Belvilla it worked out, Afterwards we called again by Belvilla whether it was all right, We are very satisfied with Belvilla,
Bit crazy that we did not have to check in and out. It was nice that there was trust)
