We enjoyed the large terrace for group meals and found the check-in process smooth and easy.

A lovely peaceful, well equipped gîte with lovely kind and attentive hosts. The pool and garden were lovely and there is a good range of shops and services in the next door village including a good baker's and a friendly bar/restaurant where we had a good meal. It's a pretty area with the river valley and picturesque villages, historic towns, châteaux and markets both small and larger. (we particularly enjoyed Thouars both inside and out.) The cool stone cottage and the pool were very welcome in the heatwave as we're the hosts' suggestions of outings taking in our interests and that could also be out of the hot sun. We had a fantastic family vacation here, The heated swimming pool was a hit with the kids, and we spent evenings grilling on the BBQ, The large garden was great for them to run around, The bedrooms were comfortable, and we appreciated having two of them,

The amenities in this cottage are practical and well thought out, The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher and a microwave, which made meal prep easy, The living area is cozy, and the gas stove adds a nice touch,

Very pleasant experience in Frontenay sur Dive. Nice and cozy little house with a lovely terrace under a large fig tree. The dog had plenty of space in the enclosed garden. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Beautiful rural surroundings where you can gaze for miles without your eye being obstructed. From a historical perspective, it is also a particularly interesting area. Very welcoming owner.

A lovely holiday home located on a shared garden. Hospitable welcome and fully equipped! And as icing on the cake, the swimming pool (small) where it was wonderful to relax. During our stay, the thermometer regularly reached over 30°C. Lovely cycling and walking. The dog has hardly had the leash on. Very little traffic, so enjoyed the peace.

Beautiful and cosy house, super clean. The garden is great, plenty of corners with shade or sun to enjoy. Hosts are super friendly and always willing to help. Would definitely recommend for a quiet stay.

Beautiful nature and real French culture.

Nice old part of a farm, a part in the house and two separate houses. Have cycled a lot but electrically because it is up and down a hill. Very quiet area.

Immediately a warm welcome on location, very friendly hostess / host. A very cozy and complete house with a spacious top floor. Private parking space and grounds are nicely sized so that you are not bothered by other guests at all. Peaceful countryside setting but plenty to do for the family (2 children)

Arrival went very smoothly, directions were good and we could easily find the key. The accommodation is a nice, cozy French house. Nice and cool, in the heat (outside 35 degrees). Basic decor, but that was also what we had chosen. The beds we found a bit on the hard side. The accommodation outside is great and beautiful. Nice big garden, so feeling safe. We have several evenings "edbq" ed, games and bicycles available (the latter in consultation with the owner). The environment is great, no foreign number plate (cars) seen, We really went to the French countryside. Seen beautiful churches and the castle of Doornroosje. Plenty to do, something for everyone.

Beautiful, simple house with all amenities. The cozy garden was fenced, which was perfect for the children and the dog. The region is not touristy at all. You are in real rural France. Unique! The owners of the cottage are very sympathetic and helpful people. We received a warm welcome.

Nice accommodation in a quiet area!

Friendly owner, and local administrator some issues were well resolved. Feather is this place to really relax!

We had a great holiday with great weather! A large garden and (almost) every morning breakfast in the outdoors.We even had a few bikes available. The house has a simple yet tasteful décor and is situated in a peaceful rural setting. In the area itself is enough to see and do.Our recommendation for those who want to taste the true French atmosphere ... Fam. the brown
