Description
Former traditional forge completely renovated for 8 people located in Coubjours in the Périgord noir. It is perfect for accommodating two families or a group of friends. The accommodation has a beautiful swimming pool, a bubble bath and a magnificent central location to discover many Perigord tourist sites. The property also has a games / reception room where you have at your disposal a pool table, ping pong table, sofas, darts and a bar to liven up your evenings.
Enjoy long walks and pickings in the nearby forest (100m) or organize a comfortable picnic on the shores of Lac du Coucou (6km). 4km from the house you can do your shopping in the supermarket or dine in a local restaurant. Many night markets and flea markets are organized in the surroundings in summer. Local produce markets all year round.
The house is ideally located for exploring the major sites of the department. A few kms away, you can visit the Château de Hautefort (7km), the cave of Tourtoirac (12km), or the famous Lascaux (30km). Less than an hour's drive away, don't miss Les Eyzies de Tayyac, a village known for its troglodyte dwellings and its prehistoric museum (35km), but also the medieval city of Sarlat (40km), Brantôme nicknamed the Venice of Périgord (40km), etc.
The owners are passionate farmers who invite you to discover their farm, located around 2 km away. Come and meet the cows and horses, take part in the daily activities and learn more about growing walnut trees. This friendly experience is ideal for all ages and nature lovers.

Nice house and very kind and fantastisk housekeeper.
Beautiful holiday home, the photos do not deceive! The view is incredibly beautiful, the environment very relaxing and the house is equipped with all basic necessities!
Incredibly beautiful and the landlords are very welcoming. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you are in the right place here and yet in 30 minutes you are already in a place worth seeing (castle). The only thing about the towels, I would have liked a set, because the large bath towel alone was not enough, because after swimming in the pool it was already wet. I recommend this converted forge 100%.
Very charming, cozy and picturesque cottage. The owners are also very social and friendly. Definitely recommended for those who want to spend their holiday in peace.

The garden is not completely finished as described. Pool table, darts, amusement is worn out. Sofa worn out. Spray arm Shower sprays water on all sides, toilet hangs crooked. Swimming pool and view very nice!
