Nice and clean stay, friendly and helpful landlords
The house itself small but very cozy! Stream right next to outdoor area plus for the hond.Al often traveled in the Ardennes so know that insects are part of it but a lot of spiders and ants in the house, especially in the kitchen not pleasant
Nice little cozy house, nice location for walking. Wonderful jacuzzi!
Great and cozy house, a pity that the jacuzzi did not work as it should ... therefore too expensive for what it is
Missed mostly daylight. Seating area outside never has sun. House was also super humid which made it feel cold. River is not 1km from the house, but right next to it. Environment is good for nice walk.
Dear, We have been a customer of Belvilla for several years and until now had no comments/complaints regarding the rented holiday homes. Unfortunately, this year we had less experience with the house in Clavier La Maison au Ruisseau (BE-4560-07). That the house is not like home is normal and is not our expectation. What we do expect is that the house still meets today's standards in terms of safety and hygiene. We even left the house after 2 days. When entering the house, the first thing we noticed was the bleach smell. In itself a sign that cleaning was taking place, but on the other hand also used to cover up other odors. On closer inspection, the house appears to be subject to rising ground moisture, whereby skirting boards have come loose from the walls. Furthermore, it was noticed that, to cover up the problem, a new strip of wall covering was applied. Apart from the rising ground moisture, we had the impression that the house was probably not used for a while, so that heating and ventilation was little or not done. Witness to this was the clammy two-seater sofa, which made our clothes damp when we sat in it. The terrace outside seemed to us in ages no longer swept and freed of cobwebs and the like. Agree that this is difficult to keep free of cobwebs, since we were almost in the middle of a forest, but given the presence of dead insects they had been hanging there for a while. The garden furniture available was creaky and the cushions, which inside the damp house lying, were moldy. Far from pleasant… Then we have the jacuzzi… it was a few tens of meters away from the house and at first sight did not seem to be part of the house, because we had to walk on the public road to reach it. Bizarre… The stairs to the top were in our opinion downright dangerous. It concerns a narrow spiral staircase, from which the handrail was removed to save space. In the middle there was a spindle/tube to hold,
