This charming 2-person gîte*** is located on the Route du Vin, in a flower-filled Alsatian village with a remarkable medieval heritage. Many tourist sites are nearby. The gîte is set in a peaceful location and faces south, so it gets plenty of natural light. The house is yours alone. On the ground floor there is a garage for your bikes and large shelves for storing your belongings. The 35 m² flat is located on the 1st floor of the little blue house. The living room has a double bed (140 x 200cm), wardrobe, chest of drawers and matching pine table. There is a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with washbasin, shower, WC, washing machine and hairdryer. The house also has free WIFI internet access. Pets are not allowed. The garden with garden furniture is at your disposal. Barbecue facilities are available in summer. Private parking is available in the courtyard in front of the gîte. In the village you will find all the shops you need: bakery, grocery shop, hairdresser, beauty salon and many nice restaurants. A supermarket is 3 km away. Nearby you'll also find the casino and its spa centre. At the heart of the famous Alsatian vineyards, Bergheim is a small medieval town that still retains a large part of its walls. It's well worth taking the time to explore these delightful surroundings. From its flourishing past, Bergheim has preserved some Renaissance houses, but above all its ramparts flanked by towers; this is undoubtedly one of the best examples of fortifications still in existence in Alsace. In memory of its turbulent history, the Musée des Sorcières (Witches' Museum) has been set up to teach you about the journeys of these accused women. A magnificent model of Bergheim is also on display. You can also visit the pretty Alsatian villages, the wine route and the towns of Colmar, Sélestat, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé and Strasbourg. The Rhine and Germany are just 15 minutes away. The region is ideal for cycling and hiking in the plains and mountains. The price is the same all year round.
