What Belvilla describes as a quiet area turns out to be a house close to another house with particularly noisy neighbours. The screaming and yelling all day long means to us that we can't sit quietly. Consultation with the manager is not an option because of her poor English. We would greatly appreciate an intervention by Belvilla.
Comfortable, quiet house with a nice pool and pleasant garden. Everything was clean and well maintained. Warm welcome by the hostess, who gives a lot of tips about the area (what to visit, where to eat, ...). We had a pleasant stay and definitely consider coming back. The only downside were the many (tiger) mosquitoes that appear in the late afternoon, but we also suffered from this in another region last year.
House in a quiet location. 1st half of September had fantastic weather and therefore made full use of the swimming pool. Since the Gard department had turned orange according to the Dutch government, we did little else to prevent any risk of contamination. However, little noticed on the spot except for the obligation of masks in restaurants / shops / buildings. House would be for 8 people, but we think it is very optimistic. Because then there must be two in the living room on the couch. Since house only has 1 toilet and shower, occupancy with 6 people also seems to be on the tight side. we drove to the house. Is not on site, but someone else who already noticed: You can use 300 kWh of electricity in 2 weeks, above that you have to pay extra. Perhaps useful to mention this on the website?
We had a nice holiday. The cottage was very good: clean and everything necessary was present, large swimming pool with a wide / shallow "staircase" on which the children could play. Only downside: insufficient sun protection on the terrace; during lunch and afternoon you sat in full sun. Contact with Amandine on arrival went smoothly: we were met in the center and could follow her by car to the villa. Highly recommended!
House was hard to find. The driveway to the house was very difficult to take and really only suitable for smaller cars or with 4 wheel drive. Good reception, friendly lady. Unexpected additional conditions with a limit to the use of electricity. This was a surprise.
Beautiful surroundings, the house was not found, the homeowner called and who came directly and guided us to the holiday, very friendly lady, received sufficient explanation, top!
