The villa is located near the small hamlet Saint-Julien-le-Montagnier, in the Provençal municipality of Artignosc, on the edge of the Var department and the Alpes de Haute Provence. Rent a whisper boat in Saint-Julien plage or at Quinson to explore the (basses) Gorges de Verdon. Visit the Provençal market in the truffle village of Aups, and plan a day trip to the student city of Aix-en-Provence for museum visits and shopping. For fresh croissants, you can bike or walk to the village of Saint-Pierre, where you can also enjoy a delicious pizza. The village also has a small supermarket, a restaurant, and a pharmacy. For a larger supermarket, head to Ginasservis. Some tips for day trips include the famous Gorges du Verdon (a 45-minute drive) with the azure blue Lac de Sainte-Croix, the renowned Saint-Tropez, or a boat trip from the beautiful harbor town of Cassis. The immediate surroundings of the villa are truly beautiful, with many olive trees and vineyards! An ideal holiday destination!
