Description
You can book 2 types of 8-person semi-detached holiday homes at holiday park Les Doyards. There's only a small road and green area between the houses and the lake (no swimming water!). The centre of Vielsalm can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes.
There's a trendy 8-person holiday home, completely renovated in 2018 (BE-6690-148). The bathroom, kitchen, furniture and the beds are completely new. The furnishings have also been redone and a traditional 2-person sauna was added. It's a comfortable holiday home with all modern comforts. On the ground floor, there's a nice living room and an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There also is a bedroom with two single box-spring beds. There's also a bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The traditional sauna can be found next to bathroom, in an open hallway. On the first floor you'll find another two bedrooms, one of which with a double bed and a view of the lake. The second bedroom has four single box-spring beds. This bedroom is ideal for children.
You can also book an 8-person holiday home with four bedrooms (BE-6690-149). The interior is finished with lots of wood. You can enjoy a drink on the terrace, with a view of the lake. On the ground floor, you'll find a living room and an open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. There also is a small bedroom with bunk bed, suitable for children. The bathroom features a bathtub with shower and there's a separate toilet. On the first floor you'll find three bedrooms, two of which with a washbasin. In two of the bedrooms you'll find two single box-spring beds, which could be in a double set-up. The third bedroom features a double bed.
Both holiday homes have a terrace with garden furniture. You can park at the central parking lot.

Great house for our family of 4. Beautiful unobstructed view and fully equipped. Somewhat noisy and creaky floors, but the unobstructed view made up for that!
The cottage was very poorly cleaned. Still all sand and dirt on the floor. The wardrobes in the bedroom are dirty and the rug was extremely dusty. In addition, there is only 1 key for the bathroom and toilet, which means that only 1 of the 2 rooms can be locked, which is annoying if you rent a house with a group of friends. One of the upstairs bedrooms also has no door, if you come up the stairs you are immediately in the bedroom. The first two mornings the hedge was trimmed at 7:30, etc. in. In addition, the 'holiday park' is very extinct and not so well maintained. Not to be repeated.
Houses quite small and dark. And what is very annoying for us is that there is no WIFI or no WIFI code. And that in these modern times.
a beautiful location on the Lac de Doyards. From where you can make nice walking tours and MTB routes.
Nice house but maximum for 6 people, 8 people would be too much. We had 4 children with us, too bad the bedroom on the landing had no door. This was not stated in the description. Everything else is there, very nice location
Very humid house. Very superficially brushed. Reception was friendly.
