At the foot of the High Fens lies this authentic holiday home. The old farmhouse has been completely renovated with a good eye for originality, eco-friendliness and comfort. The home is perfect for many families and features a sauna and jacuzzi, so that guests can relax and rejuvenate. In summers, the jacuzzi temperature is maintained at 34 degrees and does not work with electricity but with pellets.
You can go for long walks or hikes in the surrounding area. The beautiful surroundings are full of great hiking trails. A castle can be found nearby, and Lake Robertville is definitely a must-see too. The nearby town of Malmedy offers entertainment for young and old.
In one of the bedrooms everything is made of wood, even the sink is hidden in a wooden built-in cupboard. From the bathroom, if you're lucky, you can admire a bird's nest under the edge of the roof. And outside, the courtyard with playground equipment or the large volleyball court offer space for everyone. And as if that wasn't enough, you will find a wonderful authentic oven under a roof in the courtyard. Ideal for baking your own pizzas in it. Being a child friendly property, trampoline, boules court, cot and high chair are also available. Max. 1 pet is allowed for a small fee on this property. Or who will discover the unique fire corner? The owner will be happy to show you all the hidden treasures of this holiday home.
A few metres away from the main house is a small outbuilding. Two to four people can sleep here. The environmentally friendly concept goes even further here with a 'dry' toilet and a 'pure nature' rain shower.

A great fun house! We enjoyed a lot. Less fun were the hundreds of flies in the house.
House is nice but in terms of heating and electricity quite outdated. The manager also came to the door on Saturday evening and walked right past us because the wifi was not working properly. (He lives in the same house in a separate part). We have often rented houses in the Ardennes, but this one was a bit disappointing with what we were used to. In their defense it was quite a bit cheaper than usual.
The reception was fairly cool and businesslike. For the price paid, there was no toilet paper, nor kitchen towels. Some rooms also have odor and moisture problems. I was still mistaken with Belvilla, while in my memory at previous Belvillas there was more communication, and a little more grandeur and precision. ivan
A big plus is the swimming pool, the children and grandchildren really enjoyed it. Thanks to the covered barbecue table and the pizza oven, this was also fine, with the rain we had to face. The cleanliness could be much better and there was still glass in the courtyard. The gas stove was not working properly. Fortunately, it is a beautiful region that even with rain overwhelms you.
It is a spacious house with all the necessities and a very beautiful environment! Personally, we thought it was too expensive for what it is, especially with all the extra costs (370 €), while we were really careful with heating and electricity.
L"Ecurie offered us space and security for our family with growing children (pre-adolescents to young adults) at the same time, with a place for all ages to do their thing - or to do nothing. The kitchen is very well equipped, but if you... If you are with 14 people, it may be a bit too small to cook for yourself. You can also eat outside on the covered and well-sheltered terrace in winter, but baking a pizza in the outdoor oven turned out not to be realistic. wide range of shops and restaurants in the area, but for that you have to take the car - or your bike! The area is very beautiful and ideal for cycling and walking, Only serious downside: the energy bill, The house is barely insulated and a number of rooms have heating on electricity - that is rising strongly, Nevertheless, we can warmly recommend it!
