The surrounding area is particularly vast and is just part of the grand Causses de Gramat: a 350-metre high limestone plateau with rock walls so high that even mountain goats are frightened by them. Explore Saint Cirq Lapopie and Rocamadour and learn about the region's history. Bonaguil castle, a 13th-century gem, stands majestically there. In summer, the area comes alive with markets, food festivals (with evening snacks and live music, because eating without a tune is boring), and flea markets. You can also sit back on an outdoor terrace with a drink of your choice
