Description
This modern house is situated in a very quiet location in a beautiful setting. This well-equipped holiday home has beautiful, bright rooms and has been furnished with great care. There is a very large garden where children can play. There are play modules, a boules pitch and a table tennis table. There is plenty to do in and around the house.
The house is ideally situated for day trips and visits throughout Normandy. The charming little town of Villedieu les Poeles, with its famous bell foundry, is less than 2 kilometres away. Champrepus zoo, 10 km away, is a must-see attraction for children. The beach is 25 km away. The famous city of Caen and Mont-Saint-Michel are 40 minutes away.
The house is 2 km from the village of Villedieu les Poeles and close to the main Caen-Rennes road. The nearest seaside resort is Granville, around 20 minutes away by car.
The owner will be happy to provide you with a bottle of water and a packet of Norman cakes. Parking is available here. You will be given a code and keys for trouble-free check-in. Please remember to close the curtains after you leave. You can clean the house before you leave or the cleaning charge will be 85 euros.

The cottage is well located and has every comfort.Leuk welcome gift and lots of tourist information.It may not be ideal with smaller children (not a full-fledged 3rd bedroom and very thin walls)
The house is beautiful, neat and spacious enough, with a large garden where you can play football and table tennis. Everything you need is there. The only thing I would recommend is an internet connection. Since the 4G connection is not always good here, Wifi could be useful. For reservations and especially when you have to fill in documents due to covid, etc., it is quite a hassle to do this in the tourist office of Villedieu ... Although they are very friendly and helpful there! The cottage is very well located as a base for many destinations. From here we have visited Villedieu-les-Poêles (of course!), Saint-Malo and Mont-Saint-Michel, as well as Granville and the Iles Chausey (recommended!), Carolles beach, the D-day beaches and Sainte -Mere-Eglise. The zoo in Champrépus (only a fifteen minute drive) is also recommended for children. A well-kept zoo! Our week was too short to visit Coutances, Cherbourg, Saint-Lô, Bayeux and Caen :-)

We were warmly received by the owner. Got a basket with information and goodies. Very friendly and helpful.
Spacious house. Beautifully situated garden. Unfortunately no good sitting garden chairs, other facilities are more than sufficient / good. Nearby villages are also easily accessible on foot. Every now and then there is a lot of noise from a traffic road nearby.
Accommodation was fine, neatly tidy and cleaned.
