This pretty holiday home, formerly the bakery of the nearby farm, is a nice place to enjoy together. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere and the view. From the gravel terrace, with a wooden picnic table and two loungers, you have a fantastic, unobstructed view of the Normandy hinterland. In front of the house is a large, sloping lawn with fruit trees. The interior of the apartment is neat and simple. From the living room you open the doors to the terrace.
The house is between Vire (22 km) and Saint-Lô (27 km). Visit the animal-friendly park of Champrépus (29 km), where several endangered species such as the Sumatran tiger and the Persian leopard are bred. Another insider tip is the town of Villedieu-les-Poêles (21 km) with its bell foundries and copper workshops.
Do you prefer to go to the sea? Then reserve a day for Bréhal (47 km) and Granville (49 km) which, in addition to sandy beaches, also have a couple of highly recommended museums. Of course, sizes like the famous Mont-St. Michel (65 km) and Bayeux (63 km), with the tapestry and museum on the Battle of Normandy, not missing on the program. The imposing ruins of Hambye Abbey are 17 miles away.

Very friendly hospitable owners, Rose and Xavier, small cozy house with all mod cons, lovely beds and a nice shower. Wide view. Wonderful to relax and very dog (Malinois) friendly. Also suitable as a base for trips
We have no comfort here. the bed too small and the mattress is painful even to sleep on, my feet stick out of the bed. The toilet that doesn't flush. I can't take a shower. A flooded bathroom. The stairs are very dangerous and the smell in the house from the fireplace and the damp is really not okay either. We can't relax anywhere. this is not good for my health as a heart patient, even my husband does not find it comfortable here. With these inconveniences we cannot stay here for 14 days. It might or might not be possible for a weekend. On the internet it is all a bit neater, there may be a little comfort. Even the wifi does not work. We are very sorry, they are sympathetic people. But they can still do something about the accommodation! Do not understand that something like this can or may be rented out!
Sober decor. The house was clean. The garden is nice to stay in.
Warm welcome Pleasant and clean house. Work should be carried out, among other things, to repair the window and the handle of the broken entrance door (dangerous when you come with a dog). In addition, the photos are no longer too topical.
Exactly what we were looking for. Our ideal holiday is reading a book in peace under a tree and "going somewhere for dinner in the evening. This is a very quiet place. The house is simple but offers what you need. It is clean, the lady is sweet and took us away. vegetables and fruit from your own garden. As usually in France, if you want something you take the car. That is also necessary here, luckily the motorway is close by. Day at the beach, food in Granville or Saint-Lo. Visit to the beaches of D-Day. Or just walk from home. The dog went fine. Belvilla charged service costs, which is not stated on the site. The lady did not know about that either and gave us the amount back. Very nice place. I think that people who are taller than 1.90 cannot fit in the bed We did not find any flaws mentioned in older reviews.
Setting is beautiful! Directly at the house a hiking trail through the woods.
