Designed for relaxation, the ground floor features a cozy sitting room with a TV, DVD player, CD player, and a warm fireplace. The spacious kitchen includes an oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and washing machine for added convenience. Upstairs, two well-appointed bedrooms offer a mix of single and double beds, accompanied by two bathrooms. The log cabin provides additional sleeping space with two single beds and entertainment amenities. Outside, guests can enjoy a private terrace, garden with furniture, barbeque, parking, and a swimming pool available from June to September.
Just 8 km from Lucca, this cottage offers access to the city’s renowned historical sites, including its well-preserved medieval walls and stunning piazzas. Guests can stroll through Sant Maria del Giudice, only 800 meters away, to find a traditional bakery, butcher, and a cozy Italian bar for cappuccinos and prosecco. Very nice property with lots of space in an ideal location between Lucca and Pisa. Likewise, the contact with the landlord was very nice, very uncomplicated and very accommodating. Thank you very much, we had relaxing, wonderful days here!
Unfortunately we had a breakdown with the car in Switzerland on the way there. Because of this we would not arrive until around 22:00. However, this was not a problem, in fact, the owner had taken care of groceries so that after hours of driving we really came "home". The villa is spacious and fully equipped. The pool was very cool in September but very spacious and with a nice view. Enjoy outdoor living among the fantastic landscape of Tuscany. We enjoyed. Tip to the owner is to fix the little things such as outside lighting, the refrigerator to get the total picture completely great. All in all it was clean, tidy and lived up to our expectation.
We have been informed extensively by telephone and e-mail about the stay in advance by the owner. The arrival by Maddalena / Elisa was well arranged and we were received at the agreed time of arrival. They also responded immediately to questions or otherwise during the holidays. It is a beautiful characteristic house with lots of space. Also possibility to sleep in a wooden house by the pool in the garden with enough beds. The location is very nice on a hill overlooking the surroundings and the village. Keep in mind mosquitoes. travel distance.
All in all had a great holiday, but the house was unfortunately a bit disappointing. The garden in particular was very muddy and there was little to see from grass. The chickens right next to the pool also made for an unpleasant odor. The welcome for Elisa and her helpfulness did receive a high rating.
Had a wonderful holiday, everything is present both on the domain and in the neighborhood. Very cheap and tasty restaurant within walking distance.Centrum of Lucca 10 minutes drive, perfect base to visit the larger cities in the area such as Livorno, Pisa, Siena and Firenze. In the vicinity of the villa, beautiful hiking and cycling routes to find. We will definitely be back !! Only the less pleasant tip are the mosquitoes, small and vicious
We were wonderfully received by Elisa, very friendly and fluent English speaking. The house itself is a typical old farmhouse, with the local atmosphere. Here and there we missed some basic comfort, such as a microwave or flying windows or enough outdoor lighting. The pool is very nice, nice big, but more than once can be cleaned a week because stands between trees. The house is perfect for trips to Lucca , Pisa, the coast and Firenze.Voor Siena and surroundings it is already a long way (more than one and a half hours drive). For those who want to experience Tuscan Tuscany, this is good, but do not expect luxury, but a lot of character.
