Let's start at Bergerac (13 km). Sail down the Dordogne on an old canal boat or canoe, stroll through the small streets or go shopping. Tired from walking? Enjoy a nice cool drink on one of the terraces around the statue of Cyrano de Bergerac. A good glass of wine is not hard to find here. The area is adorned by vine-covered slopes and from the limestone plateau at Château de Monbazillac (10 km) you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. The area does not only have culture to offer. At the recreational lake of Lougratte (21 km), water lovers can have the time of their lives. Children will also remember a visit to the water theme park in Le Bugue (46 km) forever.
The lovely garden, the covered terrace, the shade of the trees along the driveway and the swimming pool (shared with the owner) complete your stay here. Almost then, because the surroundings must be seen!

A top house with French character! Everything you need is there, the garden and the swimming pool complete the picture. Super friendly tenants who themselves thought of a small gift of a drink and a snack. if you want to relax this is the place to be. Quiet area a fifteen minute drive from Bergerac. We definitely recommend this and will definitely return!
The stay itself was quite pleasant. The only thing that disappointed us was the cleanliness of the house. We had booked because according to a previous review it would be very neat (children with allergies). So we didn't think so. Different kitchen equipment was eg still soiled with leftovers .. About the owner is certainly nothing to say. Was very friendly and attentive! The house itself is not very suitable for small (crawling) children because of different steps (risk of falling). Mss equipped with stair gates ..

Authentic cottage with lots of charm, well equipped and everything needed to ensure a nice stay.
If you want a retro experience of a house, this is your chance. A lick of paint over the many brown parts does wonders. Bathroom is still in the 70s. Furthermore, the house has space, a nice garden with such "n sufficient seating options.
We arrived and received a warm welcome from Monique with a tour and some instructions for use. the pool, there was a bottle of bubbles, regional cookies and a bottle of Multi fruits waiting for us, afterwards our holiday could begin, a typical French southern house so that it remains cool inside even when it is really hot outside. next to the pool there is also a ping pong table and a cabinet with game equipment. in the village of bounigues there is nothing to do, keep that in mind if you prefer a slightly livelier place. around the house there is overlal vegetation which is sometimes a bit of a shame because you have no view
