With picturesque surroundings and a peaceful environment, this is a holiday home in Dunière-sur-Eyrieux. It has a private swimming pool to take a refreshing dip on a hot day. It is suitable for a family or group and features a lovely garden. You can spend many hours in the hot sun or the shade of the trees in the garden area. In the summer months, the general heating and underfloor heating and additional heating in the bathroom are turned off.
This holiday home offers fantastic views of the green mountains of the Eyrieux valley. The Eyrieux river flows at the bottom. You can swim and canoe in the Eyrieux river. Along the shore, there are many sandy beaches to have fun. Supermarket and restaurants are at 2 km.
Indoor heating and the fireplace in the living room keep you cozy at home. The terrace with comfortable seating and a few sun loungers is the right place to start your mornings. Evenings can be enjoyed with barbecued meals and some wine. The water is suitable for consumption.

Great house with private pool and beautiful view.Minpuntje is the large fig tree that you have to go under to get to the terrace and to the pool, which drops a lot of fruit and juice.

Beautiful, authentic house in a beautiful location! The photos and description of the house correspond completely to reality. A must for nature lovers and tranquility. A special thank you also to the friendly owners for the smooth and complete information and the fine attention on arrival. We would like to return to "La porte rouge".
We have just returned from a weeks holiday in La Porte Rouge. It is a very nice spacious maintained house. Beautiful modern kitchen (with lots of kitchen equipment) with large table. Cozy living room with a television with Dutch channels. 3 large bedrooms with clean bedding. New bathroom with walk-in shower. A covered terrace upstairs (handy for when the weather is less, so you can still sit outside) and downstairs a beautiful terrace with sun all day long. By 7 pm the sun is gone behind the mountain. I would not recommend it for people who have difficulty walking, because from the car to the house it is a bit uphill and before the entrance of the house you have to go up a stone staircase. There is a fan in each bedroom, but on hot days it was very hot in the bedroom, especially on the upper floor. We really enjoyed the holiday home and would definitely recommend it! There was also a bottle of wine and a bag of candy (for our 4-year-old son) as a welcome. Very sympathetic!
The first look at the accommodation was fantastic. Beautiful outdoor space
La Porte Rouge is at the top of a very windy road and it's not easy to get your luggage into the house but once in you are in, you are in a little piece of heaven. The house is lovely, beautifully equiped and views to die for. The fig tree on the patio is full of white figs which are delicious. The pool is fabulous.
