This gracefully restored stone farmhouse in the mountains of the Ardèche is surrounded by a fragrant pine forest.
Looking for a relaxing holiday amidst nature? Then you've come to the right place!
The holiday home is secluded in the forest with only one neighbour a few hundred metres away. Directly from the house you can start the most beautiful hikes via various, well-marked hiking trails. There is a picturesque village about 2 km away where you can taste the local cuisine, for example in one of the few 3-star Michelin restaurants in France: Le Clos des Cimes. In the region, you can also enjoy cycling, canoeing, swimming, horse riding and climbing. Windsurfing and sailing are possible on Lac de Devesset.
The house is cosily decorated with antique furniture. Thanks to the thick stone walls, you can retreat from the hot sun in summer. In winter it is warm and cosy with underfloor heating, a Godin wood-burning stove in the dining room and a large, stone fireplace in the living room. The bedrooms are cosy and equipped with comfortable beds. You can even sleep snugly in a box bed here!
Please note that the last part of the route is via a poorly passable, dirt road that is not suitable for sports cars.

Net terug van een heerlijk weekend hier, De bedden waren super comfortabel en de indeling van het huis is erg praktisch voor een groep, We waardeerden de ruime woonkamer en de nabijheid van eetgelegenheden, Al met al een prettige ervaring
Een prachtige boerderij met alles wat je zou willen, Schoon en comfortabel, De onverharde weg om er te komen was een beetje ruw, maar absoluut de moeite waard voor de serene sfeer en bergen
We stayed with friends and had a blast! The kids loved the outdoor space, The hosts were super friendly and helped us with directions to the village for dinner, The Michelin restaurant nearby was such a treat!

La maison est spacieuse et bien entretenue, avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin, Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants, et les restaurants locaux, en particulier celui étoilé au Michelin, offraient une expérience culinaire délicieuse, Je recommande vivement !
