Description
This modern, lightly-furnished holiday home features two floors and is right in the Harz, in Rübeland. There is a small garden in front of the house and an inviting covered terrace with garden furniture in the back. You can also find walking routes and outings to the quiet, relaxing local area. There is also a common room with table football and dartboard on the property. The Rübeland area is surrounded by mountains and forests. Selected hiking trails including the renowned Hexensteig delight fans of nature and hiking. Due to its central location, the known holiday destinations as well as the surrounding regions can be reached easily and quickly. And this region has no lack of sports and leisure activities. Popular destinations for trips include the Baumannshöhle, the Hermannshöhle, the ruins of castle Regenstein at Blankenburg, the Rappbode dam, the Mining Museums at Elbingerode, Wernigeröde Palace, Kyffhäuser and of course the Brocken, the highest mountain in North Germany.

We had a very nice stay in this great holiday home in Rübeland. The location is a good starting point for exploring the Harz on foot and by car. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. We have felt very comfortable here.
Very nice landlady; very good modern equipment with everything that is needed; the leisure room enables sociable evening hours or a change in bad weather; The holiday property is conveniently located in terms of traffic, also for holidays with children, in order to be able to get to know the Harz Mountains within short distances (own car is recommended despite free local transport).
A wonderful house. A great location for hikers. A magical landlord family. We felt extremely welcome and comfortable. Very nice interior, a huge bathroom on the ground floor and a second small one upstairs. Barbecue area, leisure room with darts and table football and a well-equipped kitchen with a nice dining table. Plus two TVs (which we didn't need because it never got boring). Mrs. Zimmermann and her daughter were so incredibly warm and helpful: we will definitely be back!

The accommodation was great. Recently renovated and lovingly furnished, this holiday home was just right for our short vacation in the Harz Mountains. The 3 bedrooms are equipped with everything important (e.g. bed linen, travel cot, towels). The walls could use one or two details. That would emphasize the comfort. The two bathrooms were spotless and left nothing to be desired. The kitchen was also equipped with everything you know from home and was also perfectly clean. The large table and the high chair offered enough space for everyone. And a grill was also on site. Only the cleaning would have been very tedious if we hadn't brought appropriate cleaning agents with us. The contact with the landlady Mrs. Zimmermann was very nice. She gave us several helpful tips for trips in the area. And it really offers a lot. The view from the Brocken is worth every effort. Harzdrenalin provided action with its super long suspension bridge Titan RT. The children had a lot of fun in the zoo on the witch dance ground. And on the way home we could still visit the miniature park in Wernigerode. Unfortunately we had to drop the stalactite cave because of the large number of people. We'll do that next time. Because we will definitely come back. Thanks again to Ms. Zimmermann for giving us a great time with your beautiful holiday home.
